hope和wish的区别

hope、wish都可以表示“希望”,但 hope表达的“希望”是有信心实现的，后面可以跟动词不定式或者宾语从句,不可以说 hope doing......，也不能说 hope sb to do......；

I hope to see you soon. 希望很快见到你。

We all hope it will be fine tomorrow. 我们都希望明天天气好。

I hope your dream will come true.我希望你的梦想能够实现。（这句话若用 wish 就显得虚情假意了！）

另外，中国学生喜欢 说“I hope him to win.”这样的句子，就是“我希望谁谁怎么怎么样”这样的句子，这是错误的，或者说用于正在那个不这样说话。

wish 表达的“希望”实现就难了，或者说根本就是实现不了的、想象中的！wish 后面跟名词、宾语从句（差啊用虚拟语气）或者作宾语补足语的不定式。
