感谢你方5月10日的来信按成本加运费保险费价报100公吨的羊毛。然而，我们很遗憾我方更愿意你们按成本加运费给我们报价或报盘。
顺告你方，我们已在伦敦的劳埃德保险公司(Lloyd Insurance Company，London)办理了预约保险。货物装船后我们所要作的就是将一些细节通知他们而已。再有，我们同他们交往甚好。我们经常定期从我们的保险商那里得到数目较为可观的保险费回扣。
与此同时，如果你们能向我方提供有关中国人民保险公司承保范围全部详情以供我们参考，我们将不胜感激。

We thank you for your letter of May 10, quoting us 100 metric tons of Wool on CIF terms． We regret, however, that we prefer to have your quotations and/or offers on CFR terms．
For your information, we have taken out an open policy with the Lloyd Insurance Company, London． All we have to do when a shipment is made is to advise them of the particulars． Furthermore, we are on very good terms with them． We usually receive from our underwriters quite a handsome premium rebate at regular intervals．
In the meantime, we should be obliged if you could supply us with full details regarding the scope of cover handled by the People's Insurance Company of China for our reference．
We look forward to hearing from you at an early date．
